Where are we

Holasport - Secret Iceland is located in Kirkjubæjarklaustur in south Iceland in summer and in winter we are located in Reykjavík. 

About us

Hólasport - Secret Iceland is a licenced tour operator, authorized by the Icelandic Tourist Board since 2010.  Owners of Hólasport - Secret Iceland are the brothers Guðmann and Trausti.  

Iceland is full of beautiful places that people love to see.  Many of them are well known and easy access which also means that most of them are crowded of tourists which sometimes makes the experience not as good as it could be.

We focus on secret places out of sight and most of them are not accessible by normal vehicles. Our Super Jeep is just the right vehicle to get there.  A muscular built up 4x4, modified in Iceland to be able to deal with the tough surroundings in the highlands and on glaciers.  

We have travelled all around Iceland for more than 25 years by super jeep, snowmobile and on quad bikes/ ATV´s in wintertime as well as in summer.  Our goal is to give travellers opportunity to get out of the beaten track with experienced local guides and see some of our beautiful hidden places that are still undisturbed and untouched.  We love what we do and we promise you both informative and colourful explanations about the history and geology of the area and having great fun while doing it!. 

Guðmann and Trausti have all required licence to drive modified vehicles as Super Jeep and big trucks. We are certified local guides in Katla Geopark and Gudmann has successfully completed an 80 hour WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER (WFR) training program meeting all the educational requirements of the NATIONAL OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SCHOOL'S WILDERNESS MEDICINE INSTITUTE (NOOLS) program date : 04.April - 13. April 2015.  Recertification date 26th february 2017. 

We focus on small groups with personal service and we will show you hidden places that are still undisturbed and untouched. 

We offer custom-made tours for various interest-groups in winter by requests. 

We always like to tailor the tours with our customers from the beginning – for the first time they do it with us as well as every time after that :)
